Cornish College
Tom is currently a Professor of Composition in the music department at Cornish College of the Arts, where he has taught since 2011. He teaches private composition, composition seminars, music theory, and electronic music. Tom has also taught several multi-disciplinary classes, and is the director of CLEE (the Cornish Live-Electronics Ensemble). Tom has received two "Excellence in Teaching" awards at Cornish, and served as interim chair of the music department from 2015-2016.
Before coming to Cornish in 2011, Tom taught music theory and composition for thirteen years at the University of Washington.
