PROGRAM NOTES
Fold Redux grew out of a collaboration with choreographer Corrie Befort and percussionist Dale Speicher. The first work was called Brittle Thicket for percussion and 4 dancers. That work became Fold Upon Fold, which was premiered at Northwest New Works at OnTheBoards. In the end, the piece morphed into a solo percussion piece (without dancers) called Fold:Redux. It is dedicated to Dale Speicher.
