PROGRAM NOTES
Commissioned by guitarist Michael Nicolella, Eleven is a work with a nod toward Nigel Tufnel and the classic music movie Spinal Tap. Using loops, reverb, ebow, and volume pedals, Eleven explores the lines between rock, electronic, and classical experimental music with a sense of space (and a sense of humor).
